Found my camera, Scanner fail

This past August I found my camera. C'est bon, oui? I'm reveling in the freedom of capture once more. I do need to find a good place to keep all my digital photos though.

Rushing back to the present, I installed Windows 7 on my desktop and am quite pleased. Microsoft has always made a fairly keyboard-friendly OS and I'm happy to see some of the new shortcuts and gestures in 7.

On the downside, it seems the legacy devices that linux finds ways to work with have lost commercial support and thus have no official drivers, doubly for Windows 7. I encountered this issue with my proprietary laptop, which I like to keep primarily a *nix system anyhow.

Long story short, my scanner and my PDA are considered "too old" by shiny new Windows. The scanner being the more inconvenient of the two. Since I've not been too artsy-productive lately, I'm just taking pictures of things I want to capture. If possible I should eventually repurpose some basement parts into a linux "server" system to run my scanner and that really old laserjet.

Hmm... bonus with buster sword equipment maybe. Off-hand that's what I can think of. I only know Cloud from FFVII though, is there something particular about the Kingdom Hearts version? Now I'm off to go party, or summat.

well, I don't know much about what Cloud was like in FFVII, sadly. ^^;
but there was some sort of dark magic thing in KH1 with a black wing. aside, I think it'd be the same.
maybe youtube would be more helpfull then me. ^^;
